ABOUT
US

Pizza Buds is a family owned and operated food truck serving all of Schuylkill and surrounding counties!

Meet Mikey - the owner, operator, and pizza chef of Pizza Buds Food Truck. He’s been spinning dough for decades both inside and outside of restaurants.

Mikey got his start in 1995 at a former, local pizzeria, where he worked for over 13 years. He left the restaurant industry for several years, but during the pandemic, realized that he wanted to get back to doing what he loves while still having the flexibility to put family time first. A pizza truck was the perfect solution and after planning for over a year and a half, he finally launched our truck in the summer of 2022. Since that time, we’ve been busy with events and special locations. His years of experience and joy with making pizza can be tasted in the quality of each slice we serve.

Our name represents Mikey and his two sons, the Buds, who love to help him in the kitchen. When they aren’t making pizza, they’re usually throwing or watching football.

We hope you’ll come and see us soon!
